Events you shouldn't miss

The calendar in Bassano Romano is full rich of religious and cultural events, you can spend wonderful days in a simple and very hospitable community. 

The numerous events that occur throughout the year include:

17th January. Holidays of S. Antonio Abate, during the morning there is a Parade, a procession of horses through the streets of the village culminating in Piazza Umberto I, where animals are blessed. In the afternoon there are different gastronomic events. [Foto 1]

February. Carnival, parade of masks and  allegorical floats during last Sunday and "Fat Tuesday". [Foto 1] | [Foto 2]

May (Assumption Day). Festivities in honor of the Madonna della Pietà, a solemn and impressive procession with over 500 participants. [Foto 1]

August 12 - 13. Festivities in honor of Patron Saints Gratiliano e Luciano.

June - August. SUMMER BASSANESE, includes numerous events including : Bruschetta Festival, Festival of Pork Ribs, Rock Fest, Markets '600, Palio del Saracino. [Foto 1] | [Foto 2]

15th August. Barbecue in beech wood. [Foto 1]
